Life Conference at Georgia Tech
Saturday, Sept. 22nd Stephanie Nguyen, president of Students for Life will be hosting a Life conference at Ga. Tech from 10-2pm. As a Junior last year, Stephanie attended a pro-life meeting and realized that students needed pro-life apologetics training to confront the pro-abortion mind set they faced on campus. Conviction brought action, and she began the Students for Life chapter at Tech.
This Saturday’s Life Conference theme is “Equip yourselves with knowledge.” Ga. Rep. Martin Scott, sponsor of the Human Life Amendment, will be speaking, along with Josh Brahm of Georgia Right to Life, Fletcher Armstrong with the Genocide Awareness Project, and Mike Marnett, with Students for Life National.
Stephanie welcomes the community to come and take part in this opportunity. Register at http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/studentsforlife click on conference on the left of the page. The conference will be in the Georgia Tech Architecture building at 247 4th Street. Free parking is available in Peter’s Parking Deck on 4th. There is no charge for this event, but a $5 per person donation would be appreciated to help cover the cost.
