Marietta, GA - Prayer Vigil at Abortion Services & Counseling Saturday 5/24/08 8:30-11am
Parishioners from St. Michael the Archangel in Woodstock will be holding a prayer vigil on the sidewalk in front of Governor’s Ridge Office Park in Marietta Saturday, May 24th from about 8:30-11am. People of all faiths are welcome & encouraged to join them, and bring signs if you like. Feel free to come any time and stay as long as you’re able to. Also feel free to come before 8:30 - the moms begin arriving around 6am (there may be a few of us there prior to 8:30).
(The pre-natal murder center, “Abortion Services & Counseling” is located within Governor’s Ridge Office Park, but we are not permitted to park or go within the office park. Praying and holding signs on the sidewalk, however, are 100% permitted.)
You are encouraged to wear patriotic colors and make your sign tie into Memorial Day - for example: “What have our soldiers died for if we allow the murder of our own children?”; “Pre-natal murder: is this what our soldiers died for?”; “40,000 US citizens are terrorized & murdered by abortion each year in GA”; “Free Help is available - prenatal murder is not your only choice: 1-800-395-HELP”; “Innocent US citizens killed in Building 23”, “Hurting after an abortion? Call 1-800-395-HELP”, “Jesus Heals & Forgives”, “Free Help is available 24/7; come talk to us”, etc. etc.
