Obama Hears A Who!
Obama Hears A Who! is an inquiry into the possibility of persuading Barack Obama to change his mind on the abortion issue and become pro-life.
Many pro-lifers will consider this to be an exercise in tilting at windmills. (And Obama himself said in a speech to Planned Parenthood that "I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield!")
And we beg to agree!
It is highly improbable.
But we also believe in a God of surprises who swoops in with Black Swans. Plus, because of the fact that Barack Obama is made in the image and likeness of God, we have a responsibility to try and persuade him.
As Richard John Neuhaus observes:
“Respect for the dignity of the other person created in the image of God requires that we not silence or exclude him but try to persuade him.”
“Why We Can Get Along”, Richard John Neuhaus, First Things (February 1996)
Obama Hears A Who! is focused on three intertwined Black Swan threads:
1. Why It’s Highly Improbable Barack Obama Will Ever Change His Mind and Become Pro-Life
2. Why It Would Have a Massive Impact if He Did Change His Mind
3. How It Could Happen
If you’re pro-life, we hope you’ll enjoy thinking about this. Please visit, Obama Hears A Who! by clicking here.
