§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

2 Corinthians 1:12 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Live in Sincerity?  Topics:  2 at end.

“For our glorying is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we did conduct ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you; . . .”  (YLT)  Read this scripture and more at

Could we possibly find it more easy to live in sincerity than in simplicity?  Maybe, maybe not.  Sincerity does not, of course, involve the daily treadmill of trying to do everything at once, such as may occur in a regular daily basis.  Sincerity seems to be a quieter quality, one that may not be seen very much in our outward ways; one that is more inward and serious.  But sincerity does reside in the midst of much whirling and treadmilling in our lives.  How do we connect our sincere lives with the blowing busy-ness in which we all seem to engage?

Of course, the answer is “within.”  The answer to living in sincerity in the midst of “it all” is based in the One Who is the center of everything and is always centered, never scattered or at all ends with Himself (He has no ends to Himself!).  God is the . . . no . . . THE constant in all of creation, in everything that we can ever know of.  So, when considering this, then a sincere love for Him helps us live sincerely among all of the mismatches in life, including insincerity.

Insincerity may reign in some aspects of human life, so far as things of the flesh are concerned.  And we all may be tempted to live greatly “fleshly” lives at one time or another; and maybe sometimes we do.  But when we seek to live sincere lives, the insincerity of the flesh is pushed away or thrown out when we consider the all-truthful sincerity of our Lord.  Let Him take over, and sincerity comes through the center of everything we seek to do in His name.  And when we are insincere, He knows it, and we will be miserable until we confess it and get back to His sincerity.

Lord, thank You for simplicity and sincerity, no matter how difficult it may appear to imbed these in our lives.  We pray that as we serve others in pro-life causes, we may turn to you to help us always be sincere, even when temporarily simplicity may seem to escape us.  And help us to live in simplicity, as we practice sincerity.

Topics:  Thank the Lord that simplicity and sincerity are definite entities in our lives if we seek the Lord.  Pray for these qualities in ourselves and in those whom we serve.
