§ What is Pro-Life Unity?
To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

2 Timothy 2:5 (Pt. 3) Thought/Prayer: Prizes?. Topics: 2 at end.
“And if any one takes part in an athletic contest, he gets no prize unless he obeys the rules. (WEY) (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)
So if we do our best to play by God’s rule book, the Bible, in a pro-LIFE ministry, what is the prize? What might any employee or volunteer in pro-life work come away with after serving in a ministry that stands for created life? Or is the prize beyond anything with which someone could be rewarded? Philippians 3:14 tells us this: “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (WEB). Now that is a real prize!
Well, it would be seen that there are all types of prizes when it comes to both athletic events and in the game of life. There are trophies and honors and the prize of fame in athletic events. In Christian service, including pro-life work, the prizes may include the satisfaction of carrying our God’s work in our world; the appreciation of those we serve; and victory! The lives saved through a stand for created life have no “prize” value, of course. But aren’t those victories to be prized as for the Lord? . . . Not because of us as such . . . but because of our allowing Him to work through us.
And how good it is to know that any “prize” that comes our way through our allowing the Lord to work through us, came through following the Bible’s rules of conduct as our manual. We did our best to not hurt anyone in the pro-life ministry; we were fair in our dealings with others in the ministry; we leaned on the Lord.
Lord, thank You for the guidelines You give us all in the work You do through us. We pray that as we follow them, much good will come out of our intentional efforts to play by the rules, with You making the calls as our referee or ump. Keep us steady!
Topics: Pray for understanding of God’s guidance in how to play by His rules for victory in the pro-LIFE arena.
