§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Acts 17:24-28 (Pt. 5)  Thought/Prayer:  Salvation,  Blood, and a Baby’s.  Topics:  2 at end.

“The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things. He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings, that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live, and move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’”  (WEB)  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

This writing will touch on salvation; the value of Christ’s shed blood; and the sweet blood of a baby.  The three, as we will hopefully see, have connection of some importance in belief.

Salvation comes through the sacrifice, the crucifixion and shedding of blood of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, on the cross of Calvary.  It is available for every person on Earth who ever lived.

The value of Christ’s blood is at the zenith of any substance that has ever been or ever will be:  Priceless.  It is priceless because its worth cannot be established in earthly amounts.  It cannot be valued except in its worth in bringing salvation to those who know Christ as Savior.  Then, conversely, it is the highest priced substance.  Ever.

So, in His humanity . . . The point here is, Christ spent His blood for us.  This was necessary to take care of the sin in us.  “And almost all things are by the law cleansed with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission [release from guilt or penalty]”  (Hebrews 9:22, WBT).  And His precious life was in the blood, His own.  When He came to Earth as a human and experienced all of the spectrum of humanity’s characteristics, His blood was necessarily part of it.  And consider that when He was a baby, He had it then.  Never was there any sweeter.

Pray that we humans will appreciate the gift that Christ gave us, in salvation, through the sacrifice of His body and blood.  Pray that we will pray more for those who do not understand the significance of the life within blood – and especially for those who do not understand the significance of Christ’s giving of His blood for all who will receive Him.  Lord, help us to pray for the at-risk babies headed for loss of their lives in the womb at the choice of someone’s will, someone who does not understand the importance of blood and the lives it sustains.  Lord, bless that person and that baby.

Topics:  Pray to understand more the absolute miracle of God-created blood and the meaning it has for those alive and for those in the womb.
