§ What is Pro-Life Unity?
To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Acts 3: 19-21 Thought/Prayer: Times of Refreshing. Topics: 2 at end.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” KJV http://www.bible.com (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)
After Peter had told a lame man to get up and walk, and he did, Peter comments on this, to give credit to Jesus Christ for the miracle of this man’s healing. He uses words perhaps construed to be rather poetic, at least the way in which the King James Version words it. He says be saved, repenting . . . “when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”
How lovely to think of. These words in themselves are refreshing. But not as refreshing as our Lord Jesus! His Spirit is the all-time great Refresher, if I may be allowed to respectfully put it that way.
How does He refresh us? By His very Presence. Just being with Jesus, whether through prayer, Bible study, scripture memorization, or just walking the day with Him, He brings vitality where there was none; energy for the tasks at hand; and, we might say, the sweet breeze of the breath of God.
Tired mothers, newly and unexpectedly pregnant, need this refreshing. Upset fathers-to-be (unexpectedly) need Jesus’ touch, His refreshment. Worn-out pro-life warriors may greatly need refreshing as the day gets long outside an abortion place. The greatest refreshment is through the Lord. But how do all of these people know that Jesus can bring both energy for the day and solutions for tomorrow?
It’s up to Christians to pray for this, and we know God answers. We must, as representatives of our Refresher, pray for Him to be known more and more by millions. And as each and every answered prayer has its effect, more will come to rest in the Lord for revival of their bodies and spirits, and more babies will be born to add their also-refreshing presence in our lives.
Lord, we do thank you for the refreshment you bring to the Earth. Help us to pray for others to know You and to be continually refreshed by Your Spirit so wonderful.
Topics: Pray for more people to know Christ as Savior, thus being refreshed moment by moment as days are lived out.
