§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Colossians 3:23 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Different Tasks at the Gate.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”  (WEB)  (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

At an abortion place of business, pro-LIFEers have varied tasks to be accomplished.  On any given day, there may be people there to pray; to hand out literature; to attempt to speak to those headed inside.  Each pro-LIFE’r present is there because God has convicted their hearts to do what He has for them to do.  So what other tasks may be accomplished?

At some clinics there are people who come early, before opening, to place small wooden crosses on the parking are (but not on the private property of the clinic).  Each cross usually represents one baby whose life has been extinguished during a certain time period.

Someone also may be in charge of the literature hand-out pamphlets, making certain that there are always some available for pro-LIFE volunteers to hand to women (or their significant others) to take.  These pamphlets explain alternatives to abortion – and also may talk about the effects of abortion on a woman’s life, afterward.

Someone else may make written notes about women who either change their minds about having an abortion (noted as a save), or who potentially may change their minds later (perhaps noted as a turn-around).  These notations help with determining how many children’s lives have been saved because a decision for LIFE was made . . . or may be, saved, in the near future . . . because someone was “at the gate” to give advice . . . and hope.

Someone who is not even on-site at a clinic may participate:  by honking a car horns as they drive by, as a sign of support.

But whatever the task God has called someone to, tasks at an abortion facility, the tasks are done with servant hearts, as unto Him.  A clinic such as this is not a usual destination for most folks, even if they believe in the sanctity of human life.  But those who do go, are called; and we pro –life folks, and thousands of people now in the world because someone was there, are very thankful that they are.

Topics:  Pray for those who are called to go to abortion facilities, no matter their tasks.  Prayer support is vital.
