§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ecclesiastes 11:5 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  The Way of the Bones.  Topics:  2 at end.

“As you don’t know what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child; even so you don’t know the work of God who does all.”  WEB (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

We “don’t know how the bones grow in the womb. . . .”  We know that they do grow, and we see the result of their growth within a newborn baby; but we will never know just how this happens.  Thankfully, we do not; because if we did, then our God who creates all LIFE within the womb would be lessened to the level lf mankind’s thoughts.  Never will this happen.  And forever we will be found praising Him for His wondrous ways unbeknownst to us.

Reproduction is one of the profound mysteries of life.  It is just hard to visualize (because we can’t) how that first spark of created life occurs in the womb.  And from there we just sit in awe and pondering to try to understand it, which we never will.  It’s really something we should ponder.  It is God’s great power-unseen and yet with such obvious results:  New persons.  (This occurs in the animal kingdom as well, of course:  new animals.  Just fathom the difference between the mammal reproduction of an elephant, and that of a pygmy mouse!)
But the spark occurs within a woman’s womb, and later on, bones begin forming.  Now knowing how this occurs just makes it more and more wonderful.  Our God is great, powerful, creative.  We don’t understand.  We don’t need to.  All we need is the evidence.  And there it is in the shape of that new person, the baby formed with bones and flesh.  No matter that we don’t know how they got there.  They just are.  Praise God.

Topics:  Pray for awe.  My we encounter awe when we thing of God and His creation of LIFE, especially the flesh . . . and the bones . . . of us human beings.  May we pass on this awe to others.
