§ What is Pro-Life Unity?
To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ephesians 4:11-12 Thought/Prayer: Our Tasks Assigned. Topics: 2 at end.
“And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: . . . ” ASV (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)
How do we know how? How do we really know how? When it comes to our service in the Lord Jesus Christ, how do we know how we are to go about it? What shall we do? How do we choose between hundreds, even thousands, of opportunities to carry out His will in the world?
This question is not easily answered. And for some, the answer seems much more defined than for others of us who desire to love Jesus through our service to Him and others. Someone who is greatly talented musically may seem readily called to a ministry in music. But for someone who may be called to service (and our Lord came as a servant), the evidence may seem more subdued, more difficult to discern when considering activities and ministries that are available.
Well, God does the match-up. It may not be openly apparent that He is working to match up His children with His tasks, but He is. Sometimes it is plain to see, these plans of His for one of us or another. But often He is working through the heart of His children in more indirect ways, ways that only are understood in the heart by those He directs into service. And, it is totally possible that even someone who has a talent for music, art, or other domain, may not use the gift directly for the Lord’s glory. A musician may find that his or her real heart for the Lord is in mercy or giving of funds. The musical talent enters in, but the main heart-focus is beyond music.
We can be thankful that God puts it into His Word that He is willing to assign our tasks in Him. It takes some of the load of decision off of us and onto His very broad shoulders. These verses in Ephesians let us know that it is not all on our shoulders, this thing called Christian service. He does match us up with our destinies in His service. Our part is only to be aware and willing; and we must, of course, be open to Him; be prayerfully open to Him.
Lord, help us to seek Your will regarding our service in Your name. But also, Lord, help us to know that it is You Who ultimately decides our roles in Life. Particularly when it comes to pro-life service, Lord, we ask for a lot of direction as to the pathways to follow. When we help those struggling with these types of issues, Lord, help us to be confident in You that we are carrying out your assigned tasks, on the right track.
Topics: Pray for discernment for the will of God that is always there for us to recognize.
