§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ephesians 6:11 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  A Force of One.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”  WEB (Read this scripture and more at

We Christians do not need to focus on military affairs just at Memorial Day or the Fourth of July.  We are equipped for battle every day of the year, year after year.  It is lovely to commemorate those who fought for us on special holidays; but, really, the battle is an every-day affair, especially against the formidable (but defeatable) foe, Satan.

We think of the armed forces.  In reality, every Christian is a force of one, armed and ready for the conflict.  But what can any force of just “one” ever do in the face of the greatest conflict, the conflict of good and evil which never will end until the kingdom of Jesus Christ is established on Earth and Satan is defeated forever?  Until then, each of us as a force has a great and meaningful job to do:  fight.  Fight with the armor clothing us:  God’s armor.

It is true that just one person cannot make as great a difference toward victory as an entire army or entire armed forces of any nation.  But wait.  As important as masses of warriors is, still it comes down to the individual.  If we have individuals who are not well-armed and following their orders diligently, the entire force is diminished in power.  No matter the big numbers, it all comes down to the power of one.  The power of one with God is ultimately the greatest power.  When combined with other power-of-ones, we soon have the power of many, thus resulting in a strong combined force.

How can this apply in our work for LIFE, created life, in our world?  The force of one:  the saving of a life (of one).  Every spiritually armed soldier for LIFE has the potential to save one.  Put a lot of us together, and the results can be astounding.  Saves, saves, saves.

As we think of the battle(s) we will probably face on planet Earth, it is easy to become discouraged and to want to step back and let someone else enter the fray for us.  But would God have mentioned all the armor we may put on if he did not want us to wear it?  We need to wear faith, truth, the gospel of peace and more.  Let us get the armor on and let us get on with the armor.

Lord, thank you.  Thank you that we are so well-equipped for the onslaught of battles in the spiritual realm.  Help us to apply our armor as You would have us, through prayer and from Your Word.  Lead us to the battles for LIFE in which you would have us contend.

Topics:  Pray for wisdom and stamina to use the armor of God against His enemies here on Earth, especially those involving LIFE issues.
All of our nation’s military leaders
