§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ephesians 6:11 (Pt. 2) Thought/Prayer: Why Pray for the United States Army? Topics: 2 at end.

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”  ”  AKJV (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

We’ve all probably seen photos of American soldiers handing out candy or gum to the community kids in seemingly innumerable gatherings.  The kids.  Army guys and gals and kids.  With all of the ugly scenes from war, those showing Americans stationed overseas catering to kids can be quite heartwarming.  Yes, they warm the heart, these children who find themselves appearing on the scene during times of war or peacekeeping or occupation.

American soldiers try very hard to keep from injuring or taking the life of any child.  Even if an enemy child is involved, the child for child’s sake will take precedence over any other action if at all possible.  Maybe our soldiers are wearing an armor of kindness that can perhaps win even an enemy kid’s heart.  Might be good for the future of mankind.

God tells us in His Word that the Kingdom of Heaven comes to us with childlike faith.  The total trust, the innocence of a child, evidenced in the lives of adults, is the key.  The children running along beside American service personnel show us some of this trust.  They know that the servicemen and servicewomen are there to help, and they trust that it is safe to run alongside and hold out their hands for treats.

Lord, we thank you for scenes such as this that appear on our TV screens – and for scenes like this that are personally lived out by our military.  We ask that it will always be paramount that our military branches are kind to and protective of children, wherever they are – wherever the service people are and wherever children are (everywhere!).  The children described here have been allowed to be born and to enjoy the taste of a candy something.  Thank you, Lord, that we are kind to them.

Topics:  Pray for forever-kindness to children by the personnel in the Army of the United States of America.
