§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Genesis 2:7   Thought/Prayer:  Life and A Life.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” AKJV (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

Gives us life.  He gives us a life.  “A life” comes after life, of course.  First He breathes our breath as we form in the womb and are born; this is the most important of the two, considering there would be no ‘life” after this, if this moment of life didn’t happen.

But after we receive that first breathing-into-us from God, we are on a journey of “the life” he gives us.  From the very moment we open our eyes into our world, we are on that journey.  And it does not matter, according to God, where on the Earth the journey begins.  We can begin our life’s journey with goodness and plenty around us; we can begin in the “nowhere” of Earth amidst poverty and squalor.  But there is no “nowhere” on Earth, to the God who made it . . . and us.  He is everywhere, and He reaches into the deepest and darkest of situations to call us to this life he has planned for us.

No, we are not puppets with God manipulating a plethora of strings from on high.  No, we make choices about our lives.  He gave us this ability.  But He is there all along, no matter if we make good or bad decisions, and He is constantly calling us to the best.  He calls us to Him as needing Him as Saviour.

There is no reason to doubt God.  He is faithful and true even when circumstances seem overwhelming and headed downward.  The realization of another baby on the way can get us thinking “downward.”  But God breathed that life into the child.  He has plans for the child’s life.  Even when so difficult, we must attempt to understand this, for ourselves or for others.

Lord, help us to always realize that all life comes from You, whether seemingly hopeful or discouraging.  Let us who stand for created LIFE have the wisdom to present this to those in crisis, letting them know that it’s all from You, from conception and on over the years.

Topics:  Ask for wisdom about LIFE, especially for others.
