§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Genesis 33:5   Thought/Prayer:  Gracious Gifting.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And he lifted up his eyes and saw the women and the children, and said, Who are these with thee? And he said, The children that God has graciously given thy servant.” DARBY (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

Here we see direct evidence from the Bible that in Bible history, children are seen as gifts from God.  It would seem that this is connected directly to efforts to halt abortion in our world.  If a child is a gift, a gift from the Creator of all things, then every and any child is important and should be treated with the respect and attention that a gift from God should receive.  Yes, a scripture such as this can guide the efforts to make certain that every conceived human being is brought into this world of ours.

In the scripture, Esau is seeing his brother Jacob come from afar, with all of his entourage of family and caretakers.  It will be a time of reconciliation between the brothers.  And right here in the narrative, it is shown how children are viewed in that culture.  We must do the same.

Lord, help us to view all children as Your gifts to the world, and help us design laws to protect their right to be here.  We ask you , Lord, please act in this regard, to make certain that all children are respected and known to be from You.

Topics:  Pray for our nation and our world to view children as gifts.
