§ What is Pro-Life Unity?
To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Hebrews 10:25 Thought/Prayer: Adults’ Classes for a Foundation. Topics: 2 at end.
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.” (AKJV) (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)
In churches, there are often classes called Adult Sunday school classes that meet at times that worship is not going on. These classes are organized for those who want to increase their knowledge of the Word of God, in a smaller setting than formal worship with preaching. They usually meet in classrooms instead of the sanctuary. Often, but not always, they are taught by lay persons instead of church staff.
There are many purposes for these classes, but they all have as the foundation the Word of God and the working of God in our individual lives. These classes are just an additional type of “assembling together” as is mentioned in this scripture. Of course, formal worship is certainly such an assembling, obviously.
This scripture does not mean that every church everywhere must have Sunday-school classes for adults. Not at all. Many churches have such gatherings of adults, not on worship mornings, but in home groups at other times during the week. The focus of these groups may be similar, but a bit different, with the intention of fostering a closer-knit feeling because they meet in home atmospheres. Some churches do not have adult Sunday school so that parents may attend worship while children are in organized Sunday school.
Whatever the set-up is, classes that teach the Bible beyond the sermon can be quite valuable. And they do fulfill the admonition to not forsake assembling. Churches provide these classes to build up the brethren and to instill the principles of Godly living through information and sharing. So what does this have to do with pro-life work? Perhaps nothing directly. Perhaps something, directly. Possibly many who are in the pro-life arena today had a basis for understanding about LIFE issues, in classes for adults. These classes may indeed undergird many ministries, in a behind-the-scenes fashion. In these classes, many questions may be answered and many convictions ascribed to because of basic teaching.
Lord, help churches to know when to form classes such as this. Help churches to be willing to provide space and teachers in order to carry out further teaching to instill the basic foundation needed to serve You with confidence, out in the world of LIFE.
Topics: Ask God to convict churches to provide additional training for adults, in the walk of LIFE and beyond, with a Biblical foundation.
