§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

I Chronicles 16:34 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  He is Goodness.  Topics:  2 at end.

“O give thanks to the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

Of all the things for which we can thank God, here are four words that sum up thankfulness in many ways.  “. . . for he is good.”  What a simple statement.  And yet, these words may form a statement about our God to be greatly appreciated.  Poets, psalmists, writers, may extol thousands of ways in which our God is worthy of thanks.  But many of these writings may be summed up:  He is good.

We know He is good in character, and we can build the structure of our faith on this goodness.  When we get to thinking about it, it may have been His goodness that drew you or me first to Christ.  (Christ is the best and greatest manisfestation of His goodness.)

We who know Him and his goodness may pass it on to others.  We should!  It may go directly to someone, such as a young mother approaching an abortion facility; or we may indirectly celebrate His goodness with prayer or other more indirect habits.  But they can all point others to Him and goodness.  He is goodness.  Over and over in the Psalms and other scriptures, he is named as good.

Lord, help us to remember Your goodness, Your goodness toward us; your goodness toward frightened young pregnant girls.  With the attitude of Your goodness, we can help others, others who need to know that You truly are:  good.

Topics:  Center on the fact that God is good.  Maybe it can impact you and thusly your ministries in the Lord, pro-life and many others.
Pray for specific states, all LIFE issues
