§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

I Cor. 1:3 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Grace, of Grace.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”  KJV (Read this scripture and more at

We knew a lady once who was named Grace.  And her name was the epitome of her character and personality.  She was truly a woman of grace.  Her beauty included both her appearance and her attitude toward others.  Soft-spoken and reserved, when in her presence, any person knew that they were important to her and that what they had to say were important to her.  It would be difficult to think of a time when she was not exuding a peaceful aura and a genuineness that could not be counterfeit.

This lady was truly grace personified, twice, we might say.  Grace the name; Grace the attributes.

And she was a beautiful Christian, strong in her faith and the practice of it.

God’s character as shown in the Bible includes grace personified in the highest of highest manner.  We know this grace when we receive Him as Lord because we are so relieved to know He loves us “in spite of . . .” so many things about us that are unlovely.  And if we can see so much of grace in special people, it is quite meaningful to know that God’s grace surpasses theirs—indeed any human being’s grace—no matter how sweet and pure it seems.  His is sweeter and purer.

Not all of us are gifted with the gift of noticeable grace.  But we Christians all know grace, as we have said.  We are not lesser Christians because we are perhaps more of a boisterous nature or one that sees things from an analytical view that can be seen as critical.  But when we are in ministry, the true grace will come through as we come alongside others whether it be in pro-life work or in the myriad other work God inspires in His children.

Lord, just help us to know that whatever our personality, You can use it.  You gave us our personalities.  You use all types in the people You created, for Your purposes.  But we thank you, Lord, for giving us some individuals who help us to understand Your grace in us because of the beautiful attitudes they display toward everyone.

Topics:  Pray for grace in all areas of life, especially in ministry.
