§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

I Cor. 1:3 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Grace, Gratitude.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”  KJV (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com

One time I told a Christian sister that one area of growth in my life was in gratitude.  I didn’t think much about saying that – it was just a plain statement.  But she told me that she thought that was a wonderful thing, to grow in thankfulness toward my Lord.  She liked that quality in me, and I was grateful for her appreciation and felt it was humbling that any attitude of mine toward God would be appreciated.  I think I remember the conversation because of her picking up on that quality, one that can appear in Christians very easily out of their thankfulness to God for all of His gifts, material or spiritual.

In some manner I equate gratitude with grace, with graciousness.  Really, perhaps it is . . . that those who feel gratitude ever more greatly have experienced the grace of God.  To know His grace sparks one of the greatest gratitudes we can experience.  Hallelujah.

So if we are gratitude-filled in grace, how does this play out in our lives?  Surely, we must be persons of graciousness.  When we speak of our faith before others, are we gracious about it?  When we play out our calling to stand for created LIFE, are we consciously gracious in word and deed?  (Sometimes it seems that graciousness comes more easily than at other times.  Sometimes it just seems to be there; other times it requires some work, depending upon situations or our circumstances.)

But Lord, we ask that you help us be gracious, with Your grace.  We want to represent You as You are:  Grace-filled and gracious.  Please help us love You so much that Your personality in these areas just shines through.  And then You within us, with your grace, will bring our gratitude and the humbling before others that will honor You.

Topics:  Pray for God to fill you with His grace to the point of overflowing gratitude.
