§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

I Corinthains 13 :13   Thought/Prayer:  Send a Mental Card of Love.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And now abide faith, hope, love; these three things; and the greater of these [is] love.”  DARBY http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

Although we need to live “love” all day every day, it is special to have a day to focus on romance and love, Valentine’s day.  Pink, and shades of red seem everywhere; hurried spouses picking out cards at the last minute seem everywhere, as they elbow into the stack of folks at the cards.  Candy is sold by the bushel.  Maybe flowers try their hardest to seem especially perky.

Love.  It’s all about love.  Cards of romance are sent, but also there are cards of appreciation, as to parents or dear friends.  Grandmas and grandpas may receive handmade cards with love all over them, pasted with paste all over.

How about writing a mental card on a Valentine’s Day to special moms struggling with a pregnancy which wasn’t planned?  Pen words of encouragement to them in curvy calligraphy (even though you don’t do calligraphy), and fold a prayer mentally into the pink-and-purple envelope that comes with your card.  Then mentally mail it.

The thing about this card is, it must travel through the heavenlies before arriving at its earthly destination; it is a prayer card.  What we mentally write on a day dedicated to all kinds of love, goes out with a prayer.  We can truly sign this pictured card “love,” or “sincerely” because it is sent with our heart’s own sincere love.  We love that baby; we pray that Mom will too.

Lord, help us to keep in mind the mothers who need special love, and help us to think of them every day, not on just one day annually for love.  We pray, Lord, that you will bless them and give them hope, strength and endurance to do what they need to do:  Love their baby. Lord, send them help to see them through.

Topics:  Pray for any baby being conceived today, planned or unplanned.
Pray for specific states and life issues there.
