§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

I Kings 19:11, 12   Thought/Prayer:  To Discern Inner Nudges.  Topics:  2 at end.

When Elijah was fleeing from Queen Jezebel, God speaks to him:  “And he said, ‘Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD.’ And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.” KJV http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

We must pay attention to the “Still Small Voice” of God, as he speaks to us from within, as He guides us gently into pathways of his choice.  Sometimes it is in the quiet of prayer – in meditation and praise – that we are most still, and most attentive to His voice.  We are the flock of the Lord. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: . . .” (John 10:27, KJV).  How can we discern inner nudges by the Shepherd if we are never quiet before Him?  How can we really listen hard for Him if we’re always blown not by a whirlwind of nature, but twirled in one of our own, in our breakneck dizzying pursuits?

Why is it sometimes so difficult for us to be listening while restful?  How can those of our number who take care of persons with disabilities even find even a second of personal time?

The answers are not easy, and each person works it out with God individually.  Lord, help us who care for, and/or care about, the disabled to learn to hear You.  No matter how small—We want no other voice.

Topics:  That world citizens will want to listen for God’s voice, in whatever endeavors are undertaken.
