I keep coming back to a voice, still and small. Perhaps I need to explore this more in my life, to listen more. We know from scripture that God’s voice can be this way. And can it not be that the preborn speak to us in this way also? We know they do!
Just the literal existence of the preborn is the loudest voice upon human ears. Once a zygote (the initial fertilized formation of the beginning of a human being) is created, a voice begins. It is loud from the beginning. What does he or she say?
He or she says, “Look here – I’m here! And right here in me is everything I need to be a human being – physical attributes; intelligence; emotions; social tendencies; capabilities; discernment; destiny, and spirituality, especially the inner God-shaped yearning for You, God.†This tiny, initially unheard huge voice shouts out at us. Yells.
Lord, help us not forget this little/big voice that You have instilled within every created human life. Lord, help those of us who battle to keep these voices safe will, ourselves, be listening for Your still small voice, continually.
