§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

§ Action Code

Help promote the Pro-Life Action Calls which are put out by Pro-Life organizations nationwide.

I Thess. 3:1,2 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:

Me to You: “Get up!  Get about!”  Topics:  2 at end.

“So when we couldn’t stand being separated from you any longer and could find no way to visit you ourselves, we stayed in Athens and sent Timothy to get you up and about, cheering you on so you wouldn’t be discouraged by these hard times. He’s a brother and companion in the faith, God’s man in spreading the Message, preaching Christ.”

This scripture has so much good in it!  From Athens, the apostle Paul sent Timothy to visit brethren in Thessalonica, a distance of about 300 miles.  Quite a journey in those times.  But why was Timothy sent to those Christians?  To quote Paul, “. . . to get you up and about.”

This type of encouragement is mentioned in Hebrews 10:24—(“And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works.”)  Get each other up, out!, and about; it’s what Christians in fellowship can be about.  But how do we apply this concept to the pro-life cause?  By being concerned not only about the women and families affected by abortion and euthanasia, but by being also concerned about each other in the battle-stance we take.  We must pray and uphold each other.  We must help each other in practical ways, as possible.  We surely must make ourselves available to each other, with encouragement.

Pray today that more and more pro-lifers will be able to discern, through prayer, what others in the cause want and need.
