§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Isaiah 42:5 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Our Spirits, from Conception.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Thus said God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to them that walk therein:  . . .” AKJ (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

Yes, each of us has a spirit, that ultra personal part of us that is the life within us.  Without our spirits, we’d just be hunks of flesh.  Consider Romans 8:16 (AKJ).  “The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: . . .”

On this I once commented:  “Not only do our souls recognize God, but His enormous yet tender Spirit identifies with our spirits that he put within us.  Every person has a spirit.  According to Merriam-Webster online, the spirit is ‘an animating or vital principle held to give life to physical organisms.’  Well, we’re more than just a physical organism, and we do have a spirit.  Babies in the womb are given one from the moment of conception.”

Our spirits are small (compared to God’s Spirit).  At the moment of conception, there is a spirit given, and God gave it and knows that spirit.

Pray today for babies to be allowed to live, to be able to identify their spirits with the Holy Spirit and to grow closer to the soul of God, unfathomable as that may be.  Unfathomable in concept to us perhaps:  But very knowable when we seek His face.  Lord, we ask this.

Topics:  Pray for each conceived baby, even for those conceived just now . . . that their little bodies housing their precious spirit will be allowed to be born and grow and come to know God’s greater Spirit.
