§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Isaiah 44:21 (Pt. 5)  Thought/Prayer:  Message in Duplicate?  Topics:  2 at end.

“Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.” WEB   (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.

If God were to ask you to differentiate between a message from Him sent to you and a message from Him sent to your nation, could you differentiate?  Should you even?

In this particular scripture, the message to both individual and nation is the same.  Let’s imagine that there is no differentiation:  your nation and your self.  Same message from God.  Message duplicated.

Most of us have definite opinions about how our nation of residence should be.  Strong, trustworthy, kind to citizens.  Probably most of us do not consider what a message from God would include in a positive way.  But many of us have definite opinions in the negative, critiques that may sizzle with the heat of our anger toward perceived injustices and wrongdoing and just plain ol’ “not filling the bill” for a nation’s duties.

Of course, nations are made up of persons.  So why could our message not apply to individuals?

It seems complicated, but we do know this.  God sees both individuals and nations as worthy of His attention.  So if His message to any nation seems possibly personal, it may well be.  If we want a nation to be strong, trustworthy and kind to its people, so must we be.

Are we?  We all have different opinions, as we’ve said.  But as Christians perhaps we need to self-examine our selves to see how we can get better at citizenship and therefore soften the message from God about our country’s deficiencies.

Lord, help us to see this.  And help us to not be chastised because we do not stand for LIFE itself.  The first message of a nation is to provide LIFE for all.  It starts with birth.

Topics:  Pray for willingness to analyze how our own character and lifestyles affect our nation, particularly regarding how God sees both.
Our nation’s army to stand for LIFE is all ways, including before birth
