§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Isaiah 61:3 (Pt. 2)

Thought/Prayer:  Heaviness, Spiritual Garment and Praise.  Topics:  2 at end.

Isaiah 61:3 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Heaviness, Spiritual Garment and Praise
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

How are you clothed today?  God made the first clothing ever worn on earth (from animal skins, for Adam and Eve—Genesis 3:21).  Are we clothed in heavy wool, weighted down and soggy by a torrent of cares, as though by rain?  A heavy spirit can cause us to stoop under weighty burdens of disappointment and discouragement.

But we are promised a garment of praise for this heaviness.  We don’t need to be bent over when overloaded.  Although we don’t know what our individual spiritual clothing will look like, God will provide us with something light and airy, beautiful and artfully designed, that will be worthy of Him as tailor.

Our part is simple.  We need only to praise.  Praise Him, our Lord.  Perhaps in this scripture, we can surmise that as we praise Him, no matter what, others will see us as standing tall and moving freely; perhaps as we praise, we can speak volumes in our coverings, stature and bearing.

Pray today that pro-life people who are burdened with care regarding LIFE, will begin to “Praise Him, Praise Him, Jesus Our Blessed Redeemer” (poem by Fanny Crosby, 1869 and later set to music).

Topics:  Pray for lieutenant governors (or those in equivalent positions) in all 50 states, that they will uphold LIFE in their daily work.
Pray for late-term abortionists to cease this cruel activity.
