§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Jeremiah 1:5 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer: Sanctity.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”  WEB (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

But what does sanctify mean?  We believe in the sanctity of human life.

Well, it can mean holy or godly.

So this scripture says that before we were born . . . indeed, before we were conceived, God made us holy.  Why?  Because it was of Him.  The touch of His hand or of His breath is holy.  No one on Earth can do this because we are not holy.  Mankind chose to sin and scuttled holiness.  But when we were created, we were made in sanctity.

How can we tell someone this, someone struggling with unexpected pregnancies or a diagnosis of a fetal problem in the womb?  How can we let a distraught mother and father know that even though their child may have deficiencies, that child is made with the touch of God and is sanctified?

Prayerfully.  Stay prayed-up and pray especially at times like this.  The family of this child needs to know how God views the tiny life within.  As His.  And without error.

Lord, we ask that we can understand fully how You have touched each of us in our mothers’ wombs, with your hand of sanctification, the holy touch.  Then may we gift others with this knowledge to help them realize the importance and significance of the preborn, made with Your touch and blessing.

Topics:  Pray for a holy attitude toward the holiness that is in the womb.
