§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Job 37:9-11 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Care:  Everywhere.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north.  By the breath of God, ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is frozen.  Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.”  WEB (Read these scriptures and more at

Let’s consider our winters on Earth (where they occur, of course).  We think we really have it bad when it’s icy, snowy, blowy, and awful out side . . . especially if we have no choice but to get out in the blast.  But just think of outer space and its opposites in temperature.  From fiery stars (our sun being one at millions of degrees Fahrenheit) to the frozen tails of comets streaking, our God commands a lot of temperature!  Solar winds from the sun blow according to their structured existence as put in place by God.  But the thing is, can’t we see how great an entity is ice, snow, wind and more, in God’s plan for us human beings?

Do we really have it bad?  Nothing bad, really, when compared to outer space.

Which then calls to the point that God created our Earth “just right” for our habitation.  Yes, we get very hot and very cold, by Earthly standards; but we can still live here.  It’s a plan!  And, if humankind wishes to go out into that freezing empty space, God gives us the smarts to create suits and equipment so we can live there (The International Space Station).

How does this connect with a pro-LIFE stance?  Indirectly, but importantly.  If God who created the vast universe, the cosmos with all its natural extremes of temperature and air (or lack of it) can create our living space (Earth) to be just right for all of us, can He not make things right for a baby in a womb (in a very controlled environment of warmth for development) upon exit into our air, warmth and winds of Earth?  Yes.

Lord, help us to be able to explain the care that our God has for us always and everywhere, to families trying to decided on LIFE verses death for loved ones.

Pray for greater understanding of God’s great care and goodness.
