§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

John1:27-30   Thought/Prayer:  Hands.  Topics:  2 at end.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (WEB) (Read this scripture and more at

Hands.  What marvelous creations God made, in our hands.  The work and service of our hands could never be counted, for all those who have ever lived.

The writer of Ecclesiastes, in chapter 9, tells us that all of the works of wise and righteous men are in the hands of God.

Psalm 95:5:  “The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.”  (AKJV)

Psalm 119:73 “Your hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.”  (AKJV)

Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.”  (AKJV)

And the amazing thing is, according to the words above from John 1:27-30, when we have His hands holding us, no one is able to snatch us away.  We are secure in the hands of God.  The scripture tells us that we will never die.  And then not once, but twice, we are told that no on will be ever able to snatch us away.

We must share this with those who struggle with death vs. life – or with other life conflicts.  Let us speak of the divine hands that never let us slip.  May we speak of this to those who feel themselves falling, of losing a battle . . . that they may know of God’s secure love and His love for those over whom we have angst.  And more than this! . . . Underneath are the everlasting arms! (Deuteronomy 3:27).

Lord, thank You for the part of us that were fashioned into our hands.  May we only use them for good.  May we use them in manners worthy of You.  And may you let those in struggles know that Your hands can hold them up, no matter the difficulty, no matter the seeming hopelessness.

Topics:  Pray that God will guide the use of your hands to serve well and in His will.
