§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

John 16:21 (Pt. 4)  Thought/Prayer:  Joy in the Morning.  Topics:  2 at end.

“A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow, because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world.”  (WEB)  Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com

Psalm 30:5 “For his anger endures but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”  (AKJV)

Lord, for those families who cannot find joy in an upcoming but unwanted birth, we claim this scripture which includes, “ . . . joy comes in the morning.”

We ask, Lord, that during the anguish of carrying this unplanned child, that You will give grace to the hearts and souls of these mothers.  No matter the circumstances of the conception, no matter the reasons this child is not wanted, no matter the bleak future that is seen by the mother and family members; give grace.

May the grace that You give become a touchstone in the lives of families in the center of this storm of confusion, emotional instability, or regret.  Rain down grace, Lord.  Rain down grace that leads to joy.

The dark night of life’s circumstances - - - let it be forgotten in the joy of grace, the grace in joy.

Joy comes in the morning.  It can truly come in the morning.  Perhaps only after a baby is born can the nighttime fade away:  the anguish and sorrow of the pain of birthing.  Give the joy in the morning, God, we ask.  Give a bright new day, in a bright new life.  Let the anguish be gone.  Let the joy that is in hope burst through.  May it burst through at the first glance; at first holding of the brand new person in our world.

You give the joy, Lord - We ask it, Lord, in overly abundant supply for the families that have been troubled for many months; dreading what they cannot see or know, with the coming baby.  We pray for joy beyond thought; beyond imagining, beyond expectation.

It is Yours, Lord, and we claim it in the face of new mothers and fathers who look into the face of their heretofore unknown and perhaps unlovable, unseen baby.  And see JOY.

Topics:  Pray for joy to come to families of unplanned or unwanted babies, the joy that comes in the morning of life.
