§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

John 6:35 (Pt. 4)  Thought/Prayer:  Ode to a Wheat-Weaved Cross.  Topics:  2 at end.

“’I am the Bread of Life,’ replied Jesus; ‘he who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never, never thirst.’”  (WEY)  (Read this scripture and more at

Lord, the little cross on my wall brings thoughts of You;
The crossbeams of wheat stalks speak of Your sacrifice on Your cross,
For me.  For the world.

The weaving of the little garland draping across the piece –
Woven of wheat, intricately –  speaking of Your intricate fashioning of my self, in mother’s womb;

Heads of wheat gathered together as a decorative effect speak of the germ of truth in You, the Truth, Lord;

The woven bow tying together the wheat heads with beards speaks of the beautiful touches You weave into our lives;

And the triangle in the center?  The Holy Trinity, Lord:  You, the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Rightfully centered on my little wall-cross – and in our lives.

Thank You Lord, for the unknown person who crafted my meaningful cross and for the meaning drawn from it, after years . . . known to You, of course.  He or she must have loved You very much.

My real desire is, Lord, to be the wheat of life to others, as wheat is turned into bread . . . as You are the Bread of Life.  Please reveal Yourself to me, as I pray for others who need help deciding between death and life for the unborn or the feeble.  On some occasion, Lord, help me to describe to someone the meaning of a wheat cross on a wall – meaningful because of the life for us that You created from Your cross, for our salvation, for salvation for all who come to that holy cross.

Topics:  Pray for opportunity and for words to tell others about the cross of Christ – even as shown through a simple weaving of wheat.
