§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

§ Action Code

Help promote the Pro-Life Action Calls which are put out by Pro-Life organizations nationwide.

Judges 7:5-9 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Armies, Many.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And he brought down the people to the water; and Jehovah said to Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down on his knees to drink.  And the number of them that lapped, with their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men; and all the rest of the people bowed down on their knees to drink water.  And Jehovah said to Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and give Midian into thy hand; and let all the people go every man to his place.  And they took the victuals of the people in their hand, and their trumpets; and all the men of Israel he sent away, every man to his tent, but retained the three hundred men. Now the camp of Midian was beneath him in the valley.  And it came to pass in that night, that Jehovah said to him, Arise, go down to the camp; for I have given it into thy hand.”  DARBY (Read this scripture and more at

Today (as in the past many times) many armies do not at all times form ranks and march lockstep forward.  There are armies of many types.  One visible one is the Salvation Army, the great and successful army bringing people to Christ and giving out help to others in thousands of ways.

Perhaps we could call “armies” those who work for the betterment of social concerns, some of whom protest publicly, whose standards cannot easily be ignored.

There are many invisible armies out there also.  There are armies of moms who pray for schools, students and teachers.  There are armies of “soldiers” who teach Sunday school to kids and shape the future.  There are armies of grandparents who keep up with times and events and change history through their prayers for the grandkids.

And, of course, there are the pro-LIFE armies.  If we were to line up every pro-life person in the world, and tell them to march forward, the ground would shake with the impact!  (Just imagine it if you can.  This would include those who stand for LIFE from all over Earth.)  I suppose we could say the Earth might quake – but in a good way!

Are you in one of these armies or in another not mentioned?  There must be thousands of them:  all working toward good in some manner.  Those of us who joined the pro-life legions years ago know what a large opponent this army has taken on.  But just like the hymn about Christian soldiers, we have the cross of Jesus before us as our banner.  And it never suffers a bit of loss.

Lord, help us to find our places planned by you in this army of LIFE.  We want to march only in step with You and to go against any enemy only with the weapons you have for each of us individually.  Then, no matter the size of the army, You will win.

Topics:  Pray for wisdom as to the position you are to have in the pro-life army of the Lord.
Pray for every person in the army for LIFE, all over the world.  God knows who these soldiers are.
