§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

§ Action Code

Help promote the Pro-Life Action Calls which are put out by Pro-Life organizations nationwide.

Judges 7:5-9 (Pt. 5)  Thought/Prayer:  So Very Silent.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And he brought down the people to the water; and Jehovah said to Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down on his knees to drink.  And the number of them that lapped, with their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men; and all the rest of the people bowed down on their knees to drink water.  And Jehovah said to Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and give Midian into thy hand; and let all the people go every man to his place.  And they took the victuals of the people in their hand, and their trumpets; and all the men of Israel he sent away, every man to his tent, but retained the three hundred men. Now the camp of Midian was beneath him in the valley.  And it came to pass in that night, that Jehovah said to him, Arise, go down to the camp; for I have given it into thy hand.”  DARBY (Read this scripture and more at

Previously I wrote, “Could we perhaps picture an army of babies?  What if we, when thinking about the power of armies to go against abortion, were to imagine a large army of newborns, healthy and vigorous, somehow marching together toward a common destination?  Say perhaps that we could imagine them together stepping out toward hospitals that do abortions?  Or could we imagine them going toward schools, high schools and middle schools, where classes teach about the functions of male and female?  Or let’s think of them storming toward abortion clinics.

Is this is rather disturbing to think about?  Even though I’m writing this, it seems to cause a bit of a chill to my own self.”

Now there is an even more bothersome scenario.  Let’s make it so that the healthy newborns have wisdom beyond their “hours,” as we said.  Let’s picture it that they know about all of their friends and siblings who are not in their healthy army; let’s make it that they know about 53,000,000 babies never born, aborted.

Then describe the affect of the faces.  Distraught and grieved.  Countenances sad to the point of seeming lifeless.  There would be no other way to depict it.  The healthy newborns would be crushed by the knowledge of the loss of their brothers and sisters, cousins and even aunts and uncles, since Roe v Wade was almost 40 years ago (Jan. 22, 1973).  They would wish they did not know about this.  It is so very silent.

We know this is fictional.  But the comparison might be striking to some of us.  Lord, help this imaginary scene become different.  We claim that the healthy army will increase as the gloom decreases in the other one.  Help us to help those who would add their babies to the ranks of the lifeless.

When we consider the difference between the healthy babies and those grieving their hearts, if this were actually real, we must be taken aback, even though we know of these differences in daily life.  Depicting them here in this manner – it is hoped to serve as a mind’s image that will cause enough of a breath-catch to spur on action to end the legalization of death to the brothers and sisters and more, of many of us.

Topics: Pray to retain images in our minds and hearts that will inspire us to do more about the pall of abortion over our nation.
