§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Luke 1:39-45 (Pt . 4)  Thought/Prayer:  Typing Typos.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah, and entered into the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. It happened, when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, that the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She called out with a loud voice, and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! Why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy! Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord!”  WEB (Read these scriptures and more at

When commenting about something here, I typed “room” for “womb.”  But not really a mistake!  A womb IS room . . . a guest room for a new person in the universe.  But more than a guest room (although not inhabited permanently after about 9 months) . . . A growing place, a heart’s place and a place of snugly warmth, just as a room in a home.  Children usually love their bedrooms, for sleep and for play.  Of course babies love their wombs too . . . so much that, if asked, they might vote to just stay there and never be anywhere else.

We know this doesn’t happen, though.  And aren’t we glad you and I didn’t stay there forever.  We’d have missed out on:  yeah . . . everything!

And we’re certainly glad that Jesus Christ didn’t stay.

No, this was no meaningless typo; it was right on.  The womb is a room for the unborn, their first room-of-their-own.  It’s a wonderful plan our God envisioned and created.  Lord, how we pray that each baby snuggled safely in that special room will leave it safely and alive and then to enjoy a world that may just have another room of their own – or one shared with others who began life in their own womb-room.

Topics:  Pray for all babies in mothers’ wombs to be healthy and to be allowed exit it at just the right time planned by their Creator God.
