§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Luke 2:7   Thought/Prayer:  That Baby, Swaddled.  Topics:  2 at end.

“She brought forth her firstborn son, and she wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn..”

Written a few years ago, the message of this devotion stays the same:  Jesus came as one of us, a human baby; he grew, became a man, died.  But He lives again, always.  He wraps us in His love, grace and forgiveness as He was wrapped in strips of cloth.

Praise Him that HE is still here, alive, in the universe, and very active on Planet Earth. Here are the first thoughts, written a few years ago.

“Babies are wrapped snugly in the womb, as their first home.  Jesus was wrapped in strips of cloth.  Do you think that perhaps that is something we should remember?  That his love also wraps us?  Strips of cloth can be made so fit just right – swaddling a baby closely and warmly.  His love is tailor-made for wrapping us.

When human babies are born, they are wrapped snugly in blankets – I’ve understood that this is important since they have just left the close-by confines of the womb and entered into a big, wide world.  Twins are often placed close to one another for the comfort of each other, after birth.  They have been really close in the womb!
Let’s celebrate that Baby in the strips of cloth:  He burst out of all human confines to don the robes and crown of a heavenly King.  And He still wraps us in his cloths of love.  Lord, help us to be faithful to pray for all babies, that they may don their life’s clothing – because they were born!”

Topics:  Pray for all mothers struggling with abortion decisions this Christmas Day, that God will be recognized.
Praise God for Baby Jesus.
