§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Mark 10:14 Thought/Prayer:  A Bit Noisy.  Who Cared?  Topics:  2 at end.

“But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them, ‘Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’”  (AKJV)  Read this scripture and more at

Yes, it was a bit noisy at the pro-life, pro-bringing-the-gospel rally tonight.  There were lots of adults and lots of children also.  The music was meaningful; the speakers knowledgeable and inspiring.  And there was lots of sounds of little voices; lots of movement in and out toward the back of the room; lots of moms or dads seeing to the needs of babies and small children.

But who cared?  No one.  Yes, folks had come to praise God and to hear the knowledgeable speakers who said profound words to the listeners.  No, the children were not the ones listening, at least to the speakers.  Many got restless at being corralled and unable to move about for a couple of hours.

But who cared?  No one.

How could we care about the somewhat noisiness?  One of the main focal points of the evening was to save children from the travesty of abortion.  These children obviously had not lost their lives in the womb.  They were busy and active as growing children should be.  And pretty bored probably.

Jesus obviously loved the activity of kids.  He even had to tell His disciples to let the children come to Him.  (They were apparently concerned that the children would be bothersome to Him.  Not so.)

Lord, we thank you for children.  I thank You for the families at the pro-life rally who brought their children and who must surely be bringing them up in the nurture and admonition of You, Lord as advised in Ephesians 6.  Who could have complained about their small, busy noise?

Topics:  Pray for families who are attempting to bring up their children according to God’s will; and for those who also support the pro-LIFE cause and other godly causes.
