§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Mark 10:6 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  “Beginnings” Factors.  Topics:  2 at end.

“But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.”  (AKJV)  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

God made the first human beings “male and female.”  And, of course, male and female are separate, unique creations, each with the major part assigned to them when it comes to reproduction of us humans.  We all know that God planned into the human body the mechanisms for the maintaining of the race we call human.

When the sperm from the father unites with the egg from the mother, all of his or her genetic information (DNA) is within the newly created person.  In one online site, DNA is called the chemical basis of heredity.  Half the DNA comes from the mother’s egg and half from the father’s sperm.  This is where, we might suppose, that the “knitting together” in the womb begins, as described in Psalm 139:13: “For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb” (WEB).  In God’s way, both hereditary sides of the just-created new person come together and interweave (maybe one way to describe it).

Well, we are going to leave this little writing just where it is:  At the awesome point at which our amazing God joins mom-and-dad’s genetic contributions and comes up with a new human being with his or her completely unique “everything.”  Even the blood type is unique and not necessarily the same as mom’s (although it might be . . . but not just because “baby” is within mom’s body).  Children can have a different blood type from their parents even if the parents’ types are the same!

Totally unique.  Yes, Lord, we are amazed at how You orchestrated this plan.  We praise You.  And we pray for each of those babies today who are at risk for death in the womb by human intention.  Lord, please convict against this in the decisions parents will make – the parents who began this wonderful process and have created a new person.
