§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Matthew 7:11 (Pt. 5)  Thought/Prayer:  Daddy, Up!  Topics:  2 at end.

“If you then, imperfect as you are, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!  WEY (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

We want men to “Daddy Up” to take care of all of the children they father.  But there is one other Daddy Up that is even closer to home for a child and his dad.
“Daddy, Up”!  This we hear and then we look, and somebody’s little guy is standing looking up into Dad’s face, arms stretched upward.  “Daddy!  Up”!

“Please take me up into your arms.  I want you to hold me.”  These many words are not said.  No, just two.  Just Daddy, up.  Pick me up.  I’m yours, and I want to be picked up.

There are numerous reasons a little boy says this to his daddy.  He wants to feel secure in bigger arms than his own.  He wants to be up higher to look around and see what’s going on . . . from a vantage point of something more than knees, at the little-boy vision level.  And sometimes, a younger sibling just wants to know that Dad thinks he’s important as well as older brother or sister.

“Daddy, up.”  It’s a sweeter more intimate version of Daddying Up as a responsibility.  This is personal and more direct.  The child tells Dad what he wants.  And hopefully Dad will be able to reach down and pick up that little boy who will then feel so loved and important too.

Topics:  Pray for little boys to be held by fathers who want to hold them and make them feel loved and oh so important.
