§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Nehemiah 12:43 (Pt. 3) Thought/Prayer:  Rejoice at the Victory. Topics:  2 at end

Nehemiah 12:43 (Pt. 3) Thought/Prayer:  Rejoice at the Victory.  Topics:  2 at end.
After the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt in 52 days, “And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard far away.”

God not only made the victorious Jews rejoice – They rejoiced with “great joy.”  Now that seems to be doubling the joy in my mind.  Maybe “re-joice” could mean “joy-ing” over and over.  Make a mental picture in some way, of every person who ever did anything in the pro-life battle.  Picture each one as smiling, as joy-ing, as joy-ing over and over and over.  Why?  Because of victory.  It must come.  It will come.

Lord, help us to believe this.  Help us not to waiver.  Help us know that you are the Rejoicing God of our lives.  And of the lives of all who are at risk for premature death, from the womb to the aged.
