§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Nehemiah 12:43 (Pt. 5)

After the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt in 52 days, “And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard far away.”

The last-mentioned great aspect of the praises of Israel from atop the newly rebuilt wall of Jerusalem wall is this:  The joy was heard far away.  “Far away” included many pagan peoples.  This loud joy was heard by those who did not know the one true God, didn’t understand the one true God, and didn’t want to know or understand Him.  The same can hold true for those who do not understand the battle for LIFE in our world.  Many do not want to understand.  But when we shout (and surely there was some shouting associated with the wall-top joy) the praises of our God upon victories of lives saved through pro-life people, we will be heard by those who resist our efforts.

God, please let us be faithful to broadcast our victories (with graciousness) to those “far away.”  Thank you so much for each victory.  Thank you so much for those far away who will, by your love, be brought close and will join in the life-saving efforts we put forth.

Topics:  Pray by specific state for all life-issues.
