§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Proverbs 27:19   Thought/Prayer:  Dancing Light.  Topics:  2 at end.

“As in water face reflects face,
So the heart of man reflects man.”  Weymouth’s New Testament http://bible.cc/luke/22-15.htm  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

I was driving on the street.  Pretty little gold slivers started dancing all over my steering wheel and hands.  They were like little gold confetti, dancing and shimmering, bouncing around, going every which way.

But where were they coming from?  This is not my usual drive down a street.

It appeared that they were coming from behind me; but there was no object in my car that would create that prettiness.

Guess what.  It was on me.  The dancing lights-maker was on me.  On my left wrist.  My bracelet.  It was the first time I had worn it when driving.  The sun must have been just right, angling in and targeting my bracelet for fun.  The bracelet had clumps of bronzy many-faceted baubles.  The sun loved them.

But what I thought was:  I didn’t know I was making such pretty dancers.  No idea at all.

And then I thought, how beautiful it would be if my life were similar, that people saw the light of Christ coming from me, beautifying their lives.  As this scripture tells us, “The heart of man reflects man” (or woman).  What is my heart reflecting of our Lord?  How does he shine through and out of me?  Do I cause happiness, even merriment perhaps as His light in me dances all over everyone?  I certainly hope so.  But to prove it – well, that would be up to others so touched.  It’s the kind of thing that, the more a person is unaware, the more beautiful it can be.

Lord, help us as we go about our pro-life work, our church work, our neighborhood work, whatever.  Help us to so naturally shine You forth that others will notice and “wonder what hit them,” so to speak.  Wonder what graced them!  Help us to tap others with dancing light like no sun – Just Your Son.

Topics:  Pray for Jesus to dance His light into the lives of others, as He loves them.
