§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ps. 127:3-5   Thought/Prayer:  A Musical Truck.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” KJV (Read this scripture and more at

An ice cream truck:  Some special things for children never change.  There is something sweetly recognizable about the tunes and their tones when an ice cream truck is driving into the neighborhood.  It’s special.  It brings back memories of childhood, memories of seemingly, simpler days.  And in the correct order of things, childhood should be made up of simpler living.

The Bible mentions children hundreds and hundreds of times.  This scripture describes them as a heritage of God.  Babies in the womb become a reward when they enter the world.  And adults have been catering to children. . . well, since Adam and Eve’s children entered Earth I’m sure.  I’ll bet those two parents were so proud of those offspring!

Yes, we are to “do for” children.  They don’t have to earn the right for their parents to care for them; it comes with the birth certificate, we might say.  Just being born should guarantee that the adults in your life will take care of you and even do special things for you, things they know you enjoy, such as ice cream from a musical truck!

Lord, we are so thankful that You speak so highly of children in your Word.  We can just imagine what good mothers Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, were.  They so cherished their babies.  May more and more mothers cherish their babies in our nation, no matter how they were conceived, planned or unplanned or by unseen circumstance.

Topics:  Pray that unexpectedly pregnant mothers may naturally just cherish their babies, so valued by You, Lord.
