§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ps. 50:1,2 (Pt. 2)

Thought/Prayer:  Perfection of Beauty.  Topics:  2 at end.

“The Mighty One, God, the LORD, has spoken,
And summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty,
God has shone forth.”

This Psalm refers to Zion (the Holy Land of Israel or Jerusalem) as “the perfection of beauty.”  Jerusalem is the “City of God,” where He specifically chose to carry out his redemptive plans for planet Earth.

Perhaps there is another, different earthly “perfection of beauty,” in the preborn baby, and the just-born baby.  No matter appearance, no matter whether perfectly formed or born with physical challenges, each baby is perfect just the way God made him.  You and I were perfect in that way at birth, the way God created us.

Of course, babies eventually sin, just as you and I have – over and over.  There is only one baby who never sinned:  Our Lord.  But still, the unborn and the newly born are so beautiful.  Thank you, God, for this.  May we pray today that all families will see their preborns as wondrously beautiful, no matter what the circumstances, and that they will praise God at their births.

Topics:  Pray for the unborn to be viewed as whole persons by those who doubt.
Pray for the Prayer Pivot for Life, that God’s grace toward all who read what is written there will abound today.
