§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ps. 91:4 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Feathered Trust.  Topics:  2 at end.

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”  KJV http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

When covered with mother’s soft wing under-feathers, a baby bird must be very very trusting.  This young bird cannot see a thing.  Feathers surround and muffle noise and prevent vision.  The vulnerable chicks are kept safe this way, under protective wings, and they fully trust their protector.  They worry not about what lies in the outside world.

I read an account one time about someone who was shielded in the robes of Jesus.  He did not know that he was in the robes of the Lord until coming out on the other side of a great deal of adversity in his life.  But when he couldn’t see for the darkness all around, he was actually protected in the greatest way possible: wrapped up in Jesus.  So must we Christians be as we seek protection from our Lord:  we must totally trust, no matter our surroundings and situations.

Great events and trials can shape a nation, whether positive or negative.  When it seems that our nation is groping in the dark, we pray for protection.  When it seems that it is right on track, we pray thank-you’s for our protection.  Prayer is of a great essence.  Perhaps we pray more fervently when the darkness surrounds.  But when we pray, we know we receive answers.  Sometimes the answer is to trust in Jesus just as a baby bird worries not when under the wings of its mother.

Topics:  Pray for total trust on the part of those who serve God by working for created LIFE to be honored.
