§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 104:31   Thought/Prayer:  He Rejoices!  Topics:  2 at end.

“The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.” (AKJV)  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

What endures forever?  Nothing on this planet – not even the wondrous creation of God’s here on Earth, extolled in Psalm 104.  Matthew 24:35:  “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (AKJV).  But the glory of the LORD!  It endures forever.

He is from everlasting.  Psalm 90:2 tells us, “Before the mountains were brought forth, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.”  (WEB)  Praise Your Name, Lord.

And yet, even though His glory is what will endure, He still rejoices in His works.  He enjoys the works of His hands, whatever He crafted in the world, in the universe, the cosmos.  And He has created onward and onward what we cannot yet see. I Corinthians 2:9:  “But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him” (AKJV).  He has planned incredibly unimaginable beautiful creations for us to see in His eternal handiwork.

And really, to bring this down, he has planned incredibly beautiful persons to surprise us with their creative aspects . . . at birth . . . the unseen baby in the womb.  Oh, yes, we can see into the womb now with our machines that do that.  But we can’t really see exactly what a baby looks like until they are born!  They are creative surprises!  And God must surely rejoice in this new work of His.

Lord, we pray for those parents who cannot be glad about a child coming.  We pray that the child will be brought to birth; that plans have been made for the child’s best in life; and that perhaps apprehensive parents may be truly surprised by Your handiwork in the new person on Earth, over whom You rejoice.

Topics:  Praise the Name of the Lord for the creativity He enjoys even in the creation of human persons; even you and me.
