§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 1:1-3 - Really Enjoy the Piano.

Thought/Prayer:  Topics:  2 at end.

“Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.”  http://www.bible.com/

This morning I want to play the piano.  I want to run through the songs I’ll play at the senior center tomorrow, for the singing time.  But actually, I’m not playing the piano this morning.  Not that practicing isn’t a good thing.  It is.

But there’s a better—no, a best thing—I must do this morning; grab my Bible, open it and read it.  Already, as I write this, something has come up that will cut short my time this morning by a couple of hours.  If I had not determined to practice my faith by reading from the faith-building book, I would not be able to fulfill the scripture, Psalm 143:8, “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.”  Neither would I “medicate day and night” as in the scripture above.

Yes, let me practice, if you will, my spirituality – then I’ll really enjoy time at the piano.  May all who speak for LIFE today be encouraged by making time to spend with God in his Word.
