§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 110:1-3 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Beauty of the “Dew” Statement.  Topics:  2 at end.

God’s Faithful Messiah
“The LORD said to my Lord, Sit you at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.
The LORD shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: rule you in the middle of your enemies
Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.”  AKJV WEB (Read these scriptures and more at

Not understanding all that this portion of Psalm 110 says in meaning?  It’s ok.  Sometimes God is God Himself, not to be totally understood.  That’s why He’s God.

But the beauty of the “dew” statement.  What is the dew of someone’s youth?  Consider:

Lord, what is the dew of my youth?  Of anyone’s youth?
It’s easy to imagine, Lord, because of what we know of nature’s dew of morning.

It comes and lingers awhile, then goes . . . giving way to sun and wind.  But when it’s there, there’s nothing quite like it.
It’s peaceful; silent; and of good moisture.
The heat of the day uses up that bit of moisture;
but it’s been put to a bit of good use.
By plants.
And some wee animals, bugs.

To think of dew brings a freshness.  Newness.  A touch of God unaided by men and sprinklers and hoses.

“How d’ya dew?”
I don’t.
“God does,” we might say.

There were dewy mornings in the desert for the Israelites.  Then it lifted.
And it left a flaky substance, fine as frost:  Manna.  Food for the day.

Every morning:  Dew and then manna.  (Exodus 16:14)

Lord, we thank you for the creation of dew, straight from You.
You give us the joy of its appearing, and then disappearing, but to come renewed another day.

May our lives be as renewed each morning, as dewy droplets on a grassy green blade.

Help us, Lord, to portray Your love for LIFE as dew dropped down, on unborn babies, babies growing up in their youth, and grandmas and grandpas – all the spectrum of LIFE enjoying dew when it comes in their mornings.

Topics:  Pray for LIFE to make sense to people who are thinking of ending it prematurely on Earth; help them to sense the wonder of Your dew that brings hope of another day’s dew.
