Return, O my soul, to your rest;
for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
For you have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling;
I will walk before the LORD

Lord, help us to claim this Psalm for the unborn. Help us to claim that you will deliver their souls from death. We claim that we will have no tears of sadness, especially over aborted unborn; we want no feet that stumble on the way to help the unexpectedly pregnant.
But, Lord, perhaps it would be possible for a mother’s feet to stumble on the way into an abortion clinic, a stumbling that would mean, not injury, but precious seconds of time for someone to approach to assist this mother and thus have opportunity to talk of life and bright futures.
Help us claim deliverance from death and also provide us the way to deliver those approaching death. You know them, Lord.
