§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 126:6 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  White for Harvest.  Topics:  2 at end.

“He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”  (AKJV)  (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

Christians are to be in the business of agriculture.  We are to plant seeds (of faith) and harvest the grain (souls who believe) when the fields are “white unto harvest.”

Jesus tells his disciples this after telling the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well about salvation.  He says to his disciples, “Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.”  John 4:31–35 (WEB)

When grain, such as wheat, is ready for harvest, the angle of the sun may make the grain heads appear to be white.  So Jesus is telling His disciples that they have opportunity right where they are . . . whether with persons who are like them . . . or with strangers who are not:  the Samaritans.  (Samaritans and Jews did not mix at that time; there were big religious differences.)  We are to carry the seed of faith to all peoples.  The seeds will sprout and eventually become a harvest of souls in the kingdom of Jesus.

We go forth carrying the seed of God’s love and salvation;  later the fields are white for harvest.  Because the seed was carried and planted.

Lord, help us to always carry the seeds of your love in our pouch or our hands.  Help us to plant it in hearts struggling over a new life coming.  There may be harvested new souls in Jesus.

Topics:  Pray for the right words when carrying God’s seeds of salvation, words that He would have us plant in the hearts of those we know and love.
