§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 23:3   Thought/Prayer:  To Skip.  Topics:  2 at end.

“He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”  (AKJV)  (Read this scripture and more at

Out of the old hymn, “He Leadeth Me,” we can next consider Psalm 23:3.  Here we are told where God leads us.  “In the paths of righteousness.”  He is waiting to take our hand and walks us down ways of righteous living.  He wants to do this because He loves us so much and wants us to be victorious and blessed in our lives.

Sometimes, though, we seem to think that our ways are not righteous; and sometimes they are not.  So what do we do then?  Well, we must tell Him that we agree with Him that we are not living as we should.

Then we ask for help.  We ask Him to please help us do better.  We are sincere about this because we are not pleased with ourselves, any more than He is pleased with us.  God’s displeasure toward our non-righteous ways is disquieting to us and unpleasant.  Sometimes we can’t wait to get ‘fessed up so that we can feel that we can “breathe” again.

We must pray for those in the throes of LIFE decisions regarding unplanned pregnancy, aging, disability, disease and more.  And it’s important that we stay in tune with God for our prayers to have their effects.

So, Lord, we ask that You will help us recognize the sins in our lives for which we need forgiveness.  Help us to lay them out before You (although You already know what they are and will reveal those that are unnoticed by us).  Help us to want to agree with You that things are not right between You and us.  And when we commit to make a best effort to change out ways, then, Lord, we can bask in the freedom we have, once we know You have forgiven.

Then we take your hand and skip along.

Topics:  Pray for those living with guilt because of decisions made regarding LIFE issues.  Help them to come to the Lord confessing . . .  and receive forgiveness and peace.
