§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 46:1-3   Thought/prayer:

Foundational Boulders.  Topics:  2 at end.

“God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its water roar and form,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.”

We saw Colorado rocks today – no, not rocks.  Boulders:  Boulders seemingly as big as a small mountaintop when viewed from afar; boulders seemingly cut from mountain tops, and then cemented into a loudly-rushing narrow river; and boulders perched high up, seemingly ready to topple and crash with a slight tremor of a mountain.  It made me think of this Psalm.
Waters were roaring and foaming, dashing over rocks, making small water eddies, great splashes, mini waterfalls.  With ROARING.
Boulders were impressive in their great bulk; some were judged as big as a car.  Great bulk and weight here.
God’s voice can roar at us, and it should at times, to get our attention.  And God’s foundations are our eternal and true boulders.  Unmovable by human effort.
As we pray for the upheaval in our nation concerning LIFE and death, death vs. righteousness, let us portray in our minds the strong, never-movable bedrock of God.  We can climb upon Him in a fast-rushing flood, as our rock of safety.  Pray today that many elderly and many babes and little ones will experience the security of the Rock of Christ and therefore intercede between life and death.  Pray that those around them will do the same.
Topics:  Pray for the conscience of America.
Pray for those who do not understand the need for Christ and for their influence in our nation – that God will either roar at them like raging waters, or whisper with his little quiet voice, “Come, and believe.”
